9:18am - Started out the morning going by the vet to check on some lab work for Sully. Fortunately I was able to check in and leave...no 3 hour wait this time!

10:02am - Next headed to Carrollton to visit George. Lots of construction going on between here and there.

12:47pm - George wanted to get a Facebook page, so that was one of our projects for the day.

1:30pm - After our hard work on the Facebook page, George treated me to lunch. He even picked the nice restaurant.

3:00pm - The dogs needed a bath, but it wasn't until halfway through their bath that I remembered Brooke had the hair dryer with her in New Orleans. When Boo is fluffy like she is now, she gets cold when she's wet and I usually use the hairdryer on her. When she came to sit by me on the couch, she was almost convulsing because she was shaking from being cold. I wrapped her in this blanket and set her on top of the heat pad and she quit shaking soon thereafter. She stayed in the blanket for about 30 minutes.

6:51pm - Been going to the Silver Edition connect group this quarter. They always have a good dinner before Bible study.

7:23pm - Harry leading the group in discussion.

8:47pm - Stopped by the church to see Woody's handy work...he put casters on the communion table today.

8:57pm - Chilling with the puppies after connect group.

9:05pm - Reading on my Galaxy Tab 3. Puppies also chilling in the background.

10:27pm - Brooke and Amanda were in New Orleans during this week of Spring Break. This is a picture from Brooke's Facebook page of the block party their group hosted this evening.

9:18am - This is what "Me, hard at work" often looks like. I am multi-tasking (working on the computer while taking a selfie).

11:53am - Trip to Foster Hardware

12:17pm - Freckles the gecko and her crickets for lunch

12:54pm - A little Daddy/Sully time at lunch.

1:49pm - Pastor Scott disrespecting the hat again (he likes to take it and hide it).

1:51pm - Pastor Scott changing the marquee in preparation for the New Orleans missions team fundraiser.

5:10pm - Me stopping in to say "hey" to my best friend.

5:42pm - Me and "some random guy off the street". Somehow the youth never got to see Pastor Scott dressed like this.

6:33pm - Studio Grill serving kiddos before Kidz Live and Rooted Student Ministries.

7:38pm - Just out of camera view is Barbara, who is watching the little ones on Wednesday night. The kids were obviously having a blast.

7:16am - Starting the day off right with some alone time in the Word. Studying James chapter 5 to discuss in men's Bible study tomorrow night.

7:25am - In 2013 I finished putting back on all the weight I lost in 2011. I tried a couple times to get back to my 30 Day Shred and Weight Watchers in 2013, but it was a failure to launch. Back at it in 2014. Hopefully Skinny Rob will be making a return by this summer.

8:00am - Fixing breakfast and lunch at the same time. On the right, Fit & Active meal replacement shake with a bit of crushed ice and a couple bananas (zero Weight Watcher points for bananas) added for flavor. On the left, frozen chicken breasts in the Crock Pot covered with marinade, cooked on high, ready for lunch after church.

8:20am - THIS is the reason I am back on the 30 Day Shred and Weight Watchers. Hoping by posting this each month on my 12 of 12 will motivate me to keep on track. Nope, not a proud moment.

8:40am - This is where Sully likes to lay while I take a shower. Sully loves his heater. The bathroom was an add-on after the house was built and has no heat or AC duct work...a little chilly in the winter without a space heater.

9:56am - It is my week to run Easy Worship at church. Getting everything set up for service.

10:44am - Daniel Hammersley is sharing briefly about getting back to Russia for his February wedding. Daniel was at the church when Brooke and I first started attending in 1991. He has been a missionary in Russia for 17 years now.

11:34am - A few folks lining up for pictures. Getting ready to put together our 2014 church directory.

3:35pm - It got up to 70 degrees today, so I thought I'd try to get outside for a bit and read. My phone said it was 70 degrees out, but I still needed a sweat shirt. It was windy and cool. Of course the dogs wanted to enjoy the nice weather, too.

4:18pm - Dinner time for Freckles, the Leopard Gecko I got right before Christmas. She is going after that cricket in the corner of the cage. Leopard Gecko tails usually come to a point. It seems at some time in the past, she lost/dropped her tail and this is how it grew back. Looks a little different, but it gives her personality.

8:21pm - Back from a not-so-successful trip. Tried two Dollar Tree stores to find storage containers for Amanda. First one didn't have the right kind. Second one closed just before we drove up. Guess it was not a total loss, though. Picked up some Super Glue and light bulbs. How can you go to Dollar Tree and not pick up something?

8:38pm - Little boys and their toys. I got this remote control helicopter for Christmas. It is a bit harder to fly that the other ones I have had. It is a hardy little thing, but it still is requiring a bit of super glue after just 5 or 6 flights. It seems zooming up to the ceiling followed by a sudden and speedy descent is not what's best for it.

10:44am - Friday morning Bible reading (again with Sully)

10:50am - Boo was supposed to help me get Amanda out of bed, not join her in bed.

10:59am - The 30 Day Shred continues.

11:24am - Amanda washing her clothes to help out Mom so she won't have to do it after work.

12:00pm - Sully getting some Amanda love.

1:10pm - One of Amanda's favorite summer past times...swimming at the Kerrs. But don't ask her about it, she'll just tell you she does not get to go enough.

1:45pm - Had to drop my Kahr P9 off to have some work done by the gunsmith. 

3:43pm - Our favorite time of the day...Sonic Happy Hour!

3:44pm - Amanda had a coupon so we stopped by Bath and Body Works for her to get some stuff.

7:12pm - Sully always go first with the hair cuts. He comes up to me and let's me shave him. He likes the attention.

7:55pm - Always have to hunt down Boo. Whenever she sees me getting the shaving stuff out she runs and hides.

9:29pm - Sully wants some snuggle time after his haircut.

6:27am - Up paying bills before work.

6:48am - Reading my Bible. Sully always likes to sit in my lap while I read. He even lays still so I can highlight and write notes.

7:08am - Level 3 of the 30 Day Shred. My arms always feel like they are going to fall of by this time.

8:08am - Snapping a quick picture of my wife looking all pretty or work. I love this lady!

11:08am - The staff just loves posing for this shot every time the 12th falls on a Tuesday (NOT!)

12:15pm - Returning a computer after More Tech Savvy got done fixing it.

6:38pm - Little Tuesday night practice with my ping pong buddy, Mark.

9:47pm - Sully hanging out with me in my office. He's my buddy.

9:47pm - Brooke on the phone with Meagan. She didn't want the flash in her eyes I guess. 

9:48pm - Boo had to check me out to see what's up. She was laying down next to Brooke while she was on the phone. Boo's my "big momma". She is not big and she was never a momma. I think she got this name because she is the alpha dog at our house.

9:51pm - My princess, asleep.

9:53pm - The health nuts, eating a late night snack and watching some TV.
